Victoria Waldron-Hahn

Hello, lovely to meet you. Here is a bit about me.

Falling in love with yoga, and eastern philosophy in my late teens set me on a lifetime of discovery and exploration. My yoga background is in three main yoga traditions… Hatha, Iyengar and Ashtanga:

After practicing for about 15 years and with a thirst to know more about the nuts and bolts of yoga , I did my teaching training with the  International Yoga Teacher’s Association (IYTA,) and then began teaching in the Campbelltown area. I LOVED it, but……..

It seems I had more to learn. Three years after I began teaching I had an accident and suffered head and neck injuries, then anxiety and depression. I found myself using my yoga practice as a healing modality for myself.

There followed a few years of rehabilitation using the essential principles of healthy movement, Restorative and Remedial Yoga as well as Meditation to re-establish and then maintain the well being of my body, mind and emotions.

I feel privileged to have been back teaching for 10 years. I STILL love it,

The lessons learnt from my recovery journey have become intrinsic to my present classes. I have continued studying and investigating in order to grow my understanding and improve my teaching. This has included exploring trauma-based yoga, “Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction” and Yoga energy systems.

I am looking forward to many more yoga adventures.
